It’s time to celebrate! The long-awaited Watford City McDonald’s, owned and operated by the Williams family, is officially opening its doors with a grand celebration on Thursday, November 20 at 6 a.m. Located at 104 11th Ave SE, the new restaurant promises not only classic Golden Arches favorites but also a commitment to the Watford City community, driven by decades of family experience.
For Melissa and Dave Williams, who have been rooted in North Dakota their entire lives, this opening is the culmination of a lifelong commitment to the McDonald’s brand. The Williams family truly runs the show, making this a genuine local fixture. “We truly are a family-run business,” shared Williams. “My wife and sister run our main office. Our youngest daughter is also a part of the business; she will help oversee all of our restaurants, including Watford City.”
Dave Williams brings an impressive 40 years of experience to the table, having started his McDonald’s career at the age of 16. The couple, who have two daughters and four grandchildren, are eager to become active members of the community. “Melissa and I look forward to integrating into the Watford community and meeting new people! We are very excited to have our McDonald’s here!”
