Abrupt Business Shutdown Sparks Public Speculation

Following several social media posts made Saturday, Jan. 24, The Farmer received multiple inquiries from community members seeking answers as to the looming question "What happened to Royals Medspa?'
Sources told The Farmer, that the Main Street business, which opened September 2025, was shut down on Thursday, Jan. 22, following reports that the owner, identified as Kendra Cain, has been operating her business without a nursing license.
Cain has promoted Royals Medspa as a "luxury medical spa that combines precision medical aesthetics with proactive wellness - offering advanced laser tattoo & hair removal, skin resurfacing, massage therapy, IV therapy, facials, peptides, neurotoxin, filler, paramedical tattooing, and personalized wellness guidance," according to www.beautyhairnailsalons.com
The Farmer is actively investigating the speculations in regard to the abrupt closure of Royals Medspa. The Watford City Police Department confirmed today the following information.
The Watford City Police Department (WCPD) is currently investigating complaints related to Royals MedSpa alleged unlawful business practices. This investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available. The WCPD advised that individuals with specific concerns regarding services that they may have received from Royal MedSpa are encouraged to contact WCPD Dispatch at 701-444-2400. Callers will be directed to Detective Bostic or Officer Hunt.
