A new chapter for North Dakota’s working families

A new chapter for North Dakota’s working families

After four years of runaway spending, record inflation, and growing government overreach, Americans are ready for a reset.
The One Big Beautiful Bill is that reset.

This legislation delivers historic tax relief-not for the rich or well-connected-but for working-class families, seniors on fixed incomes, farmers growing our food, law enforcement officers putting in overtime, and restaurant waitresses pulling double shifts to make ends meet.
These are the people who keep our country running. And they’re the people this bill helps first.

Those threatened by the reforms in this bill are demonizing it with falsehoods. They claim the bill cuts taxes for billionaires and slashes social programs. These claims are wrong.

This bill is about jumpstarting our economy, restoring opportunity, and helping people who work hard get ahead again.
At the heart of this bill is a simple principle: Americans should be able to keep more of what they earn.

We make the Trump tax cuts permanent-preventing the largest tax hike in American history. The policies in this bill are expected to raise take-home pay by as much as $13,300 per household and increase wages by as much as $11,600. For Americans earning between $30,000 and $80,000, that means about 15 percent less in taxes. That’s real money that you earned, back in your pocket where it belongs.

For parents, we increase the Child Tax Credit to $2,500 per child and give families more tools to save and plan. For small businesses and family farms, we lock in tax relief that helps them invest, hire, and grow-without government getting in the way.
