This is the first in a series of columns I’ll be writing to detail how North Dakotans will soon be feeling the big wins packed into the One Big Beautiful Bill. There are so many, it’ll take several installments to lay it all out. Hint: It’s good news for every tax-paying North Dakotan-individuals, small business owners, ag producers, energy innovators, students, military families, and beyond.
If you’ve been listening to the Democrats, you’d think this bill was a death sentence. Their rhetoric? Absolutely pathetic. Predictable, yes. But still pathetic. They pulled out every scare tactic in their playbook to try and kill this bill. Why? Not because they care about your family’s future-but because they fear a future where hardworking Americans thrive and, worse for them, vote Republican for generations to come.
Let’s be clear: this legislation prevents the largest tax increase in U.S. history and replaces it with smart, pro-growth reforms. That alone is a massive win. But there’s so much more.
