Wrestlers to compete in Region IV Tournament on Saturday

Watford City’s varsity wrestling team wrapped up its regular season on Friday with a 39-27 win over New Salem-Almont.
The Wolves will now compete in the Region IV Tournament, which gets underway at 10 a.m. (MT) in Killdeer. The top four place finishers in the Region IV Tournament advance to the State Class B Wrestling Tournament.

Watford City 39, New Salem-Alomont 27
Watford City won one match by decision and six by forfeit as the Wolves closed out their 2011-2012 regular season wrestling action with a 39-27 win over New Salem-Almont on Friday.
Jade Hepper won the 106-pound match as he decisioned Shane Forster, 11-6, while Coleton Jore, Josh Johnson, Gus Nelson, Austin Garmann, Josh Rockeman and Kye Bolken all won by forfeit.
Individual results from the dual were as follows:
106: Jade Hepper decisioned Shane Forster, 11-6.
113: Logan Gumke was decisioned by Cullen Seeger, 5-4.
120: Coleton Jore won by forfeit.
126: Clay Jorgenson was decisioned by Colton Neumiller, 13-3.
132: Josh Johnson won by forfeit.
138: Gus Nelson won by forfeit.
145: Trevor Kalberer was decisioned by Cody Neumiller, 8-7.
152: Austin Garmann won by forfeit.
160: Joe Nelson was decisioned by Taylor Heins, 18-3.
170: Keegan Thompson was pinned by Dalton Reinfeld in 1:35.
182: Josh Rockeman won by forfeit.
285: Kye Bolken won by forfeit.
