Wolves baseball has a tough end to their season

Watford City 2, Bismarck 10
Watford City Wolves couldn’t keep up with Bismarck and fell 2-10 last Wednesday.
Bismarck opened the scoring in the first after Grady Swanson singled, scoring one run.
Bismarck extended their early lead with four runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Aidan Rukowski, Tate Schaner, and Brady Vogel.


Landon Ledahl starting on the mound for the Wolves. The right-handed pitcher surrendered seven hits and nine runs (three earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking two. Noah LoFberg stepped on the mound first for Bismarck. He surrendered five hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Isaiah Leahy, the Wolves’s number nine hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Carter Branstrom and Brandon Spacher each drove in one run for the Wolves.
