Walleye split a doubleheader with Mandan

The Watford City Walleye were back on the home diamond for a Class A American Legion Baseball doubleheader on Thursday, July 6. Both games were high scoring and featured huge comebacks. Each team won one game, with the Mandan A’s taking game one, and the Walleye winning game two.
Mandan 11, Watford City 8
Watford City scored seven runs in the first three innings on their way to a 7-1 lead. However, Mandan refused to quit and the Walleye lead proved to be surmountable thanks to two big innings for the A’s offense.
