Puetz takes third at Scottie Invitational

Raehs Puetz, who is currently ranked the No. 5 runner in Class B Cross Country, turned in a time of 16:36 to finish in third place at the  Scottie Invitational at Fort Peck Dam this past Saturday.
“The weather turned out great at Fort Peck and we saw some extremely fast times for the boys,” stated Greg Brown, Wolves’ head coach. “I feel that the boys team is starting to gain some confidence and is following Raehs’ leadership and becoming better each and every meet.”
Also placing in the boys division for Watford City was: 29. Osman Leon, 18:27; 30. Dakota Garmann, 18:38; 34. Jack Gillispey, 19:13; 38. Lathan Smith, 19:43; and 41. Hunter DeFoe, 20:19.
In the junior varsity division, Trevor Alveshere finished in 10th with a time of 21:58, followed by Devin Schmitz, 13th, 22:43, and Cauy Hartel, 14th, 22:43.
Chelsea Cryer won the junior varsity girls division with a time of 24:26, while Fabiola Lee-Morales took 37th in the girls junior high division with a time of 14:00.
