Oilers take 2nd at State

The Watford City Oiler Pee Wee team took second place at the State B1 Hockey Tournament, which was held in Williston on March 5 - 7.
The Oilers opened the tournament on Friday defeating the Fargo Angels 8-5. 
Moving into the winner’s bracket, the Oilers defeated the Grand Forks Jets 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. In the championship game on Sunday, the Pee Wees lost to the Bismarck Senators 6-1, but still brought home the second place trophy.
Daniel Marmon and Jonathan Dunn received tournament awards for hat tricks.
The Pee Wee Oilers finished the year with a winning record of 18-6.
