The weekend started against Bottineau on Friday afternoon. The Oilers were on their heels from the start giving up 15 shots in the first period but were able to score first. Eastyn Wold was able to convert a pass from Aiden Olson and Lauren Melland to give the Oilers the 1-0 lead at the first intermission. Emma Carlson continued to stand on her head in the second, making 17 more saves and keeping the game tied at 1 after the 2nd.
The third period started with B/R scoring twice in the first five minutes and cruise to the 5-1 win.
