Watford City 51, Sidney 42
Watford City extended their winning streak to six consecutive games as they won their inter-state rivalry match against Sidney 51-42. The game was close throughout the first three quarters until the Wolves were able to stretch the lead in the fourth.
“We changed our press in the 4th quarter and it gave Sidney a lot of problems,” said head coach, Tom Dwyer. “It forced them into some turnovers that we were able to convert into some easy layups. Our whole team was obviously involved in that, but I do want to highlight Hope Cross and Annabelle Bohn. They played phenomenally in that game, especially on defense, and both of them are a big reason we were able to win that game.”
