Hartman, Kronberg top bull, bareback riders at Fair Rodeo

Weston Hartman of Mandan and Thomas Kronberg of Forbes were the big money winners at the NDRA Rodeo held on Saturday, July 11, at the McKenzie County Fair.
Hartman scored an 80 on his bull to take home $1,633.60, while Kronberg pocketed $1,288 in winnings on his bareback ride. Both Hartman and Kronberg were the only two riders to make the eight second ride in those two events.
In the other events, Jason Vohs, Dickinson, won the calf roping, while Jackie Schau, Almont, won the ladies barrel  racing and Anna Jorgenson of Watford City topped the field to win the ladies breakaway roping.
In the saddle bronc competition, Britt Luger of Ft. Yates took first place as did Jon Shields in the Men’s Senior Breakaway Roping. Cameron Morman, Glen Ullin, won the steer wrestling competition, while the team of Preston Billadeau of Parshall and Levi O’Keeffe of Mohall won the  team roping.
