Sally Ann Foreman, age 82, of Keene, N.D., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, in Watford City at McKenzie County Healthcare Systems Hospital.
Sally was born on Dec. 1, 1932, to Clarence and Bertha (Borreson) Lovaas, of Keene, N.D. She lived in the Keene area her entire life. Sally completed school through the sophomore year.
In December of 1951, Sally married Gordon D. Foreman at her parents home. Gordon and Sally gave birth to six children and raised numerous foster children. Sally worked as a homemaker, a cook, nurses aide, in retail, as a waitress, mowed lawn for the Union Cemetery in the Keene area and for the care center of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Watford City, N.D.
Sally enjoyed crocheting and knitting, along with various crafts. She loved feeding and watching the wildlife from her front deck.
Sally is survived by her sons, David (Marge) Foreman, Oshkosh, Wisc.; Wayne (Donna) Foreman, Watford City, N.D.; and her estranged son, Lance (Debra) Foreman, Watford City, N.D. She is also survived by her daughter, Laurie Foreman, Davenport, N.D.; Donna Henderson Foreman, Watford City, N.D.; and by her estranged daughters, Rita (Gary) Heilman, Albert Lee, Minn. and Nita Frame, Dilworth, Minn. Sally is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gordon (1986), her parents, Clarence (1992) and Bertha (1985) Lovaas, her brother, Leo Lovaas (1995) and grandson, Kelly Foreman (2013).
Funeral services were held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, in Watford City N.D. She was buried at Silent City Cemetery in rural Keene, N.D. Viewing was at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home in Watford City on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015.
