Posted 1/13/15 (Tue)

Paulette Kay Swenson of Keene, N.D., journeyed to heaven on Jan. 3, 2015.
Paulette was born on Jan. 18, 1953 in Watford City, N.D., to parents, Carroll and Betty (Carman) Swenson. Paulette, her brother Timothy, and family, made their home in rural Keene, N.D. She attended Hawkeye School in Charleston from K through 4th grade. Then, she attended New Town High School, from which she graduated in 1972. After graduation, Paulette attended Joseph Schools of Hair & Cosmetology graduating in 1973 with her license. Paulette was united in marriage to Gary Sieg of New Town, N.D., on Sept. 29, 1973, at the Keene Lutheran Church. In 1974, Paulette started working at Northrup Gramm and Corp, where she soldered and ran parts for 23 more years. Due to her health, Paulette had to retire.
After retiring she started to cherish life to the fullest with her children, family, and many loved friends - making sure to love all as much as she could. Paulette took great pride in her skills as a beautician for her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, golfing, fishing, camping, visiting, shopping, and most of all, reading. Even though many of the years were tough, she always found the love in life, family, and friends that were more like family. The loss is heartfelt by all who knew her.
Paulette is survived by her son, Jason Sieg, Bismarck, N.D.; her daughter, Deseray Sieg (Cp Old Dwarf), Pryor, Mont.; her brother, Timothy (Dale Ann) Swenson, Brookings, S.D.; her nephew, Grant and family; her niece, Kara; and many extended family and loved ones in her life.
