Jacob Pantaleone

Jacob Matthew Pantaleone born Oct. 1, 1987, in Joliet, Ill., to Mark and Lisa (Jameson) Pantaleone was baptized at St Lawrence Catholic Church in South Wilmington, Ill. Jake was joined by a brother Andrew Pantaleone in 1991.
Jake spent most of his childhood in Essex, Ill., attending Reed Custer Schools. He was especially close to his Grandma Dee and Grandma Rose. He enjoyed time “junking” at Grandpa RJ’s antique shop listening to old country music. He shared a love the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs with his Grandpa Matt. He enjoyed traveling with his Aunt Linda and Uncle Larry. He loved picking on and protecting his brother Andrew. Jake loved sitting at a campfire and talking with his Dad. He gave the best bear hugs to his Mom and always ended with “I love you Momma” even as an adult. He loved music and drawing at a young age and was always fascinated with anything with a motor in it. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and loved Baugna Caulda and the homemade ravioli his Grandma Dee, Aunt Bonnie and Mom would make together.
In 2007 Jake joined the rest of his family in Watford City. He loved living in the country, his dogs Bailee and Luka and his enormous chickens. He loved tinkering on old 4-wheel drives and was very proud of his old Ford Bronco. He loved all kinds of music, taught himself to play basic guitar and was always saying to anyone who would listen “you have to hear this song.” He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors which led to his favorite jobs in construction and as a ranch hand.
He met Tori Cook soon after moving to Watford City and together they have two beautiful daughters Justyne (7) and Jadyn (4) whom he loved with all his heart. Together they enjoyed playing outdoors, games, music and even painting Daddy’s toenails. Jake was expecting the birth of his first son in August, 2019, with Heather Jones.
Jake struggled through his adult years with depression and its complications, losing that battle on May 10, 2019. He is preceded in death by his beloved Grandmother Rosalee Jameson.
