Cecelia Ann Otteson, 70, of Minto, N.D., died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at home, surrounded by her family, under the care of Hospice.
Cecelia was born Jan. 28, 1943, to Carl and Dagny (Gustafson) Berquist at Watford City, N.D. She grew up and attended Nelson School in rural Watford City. They lived in Warwick, N.D., and Portland, N.D., before settling in Minto.
Cecelia enjoyed taking trips with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Selmer, of Minto; three daughters, Joanne Otteson (Jon Linner), of Oakwood, N.D., Priscilla Otteson, of Grafton, N.D., and Jodi (Daniel) Concha, of Fargo, N.D.; eight grandchildren; sister, Darlene (Lee) Stevens, of Watford City, N.D.; brother, Roy (Marlyn) Berquist, of Watford City; three sisters-in-law, Linda Berquist, of Watford City, Janice (Perry) Knudsvig, of Clifford, N.D. and Mary Otteson, of Sheridan, Wyo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Berquist; two half-brothers, Clarence and Arden Berquist; and two brothers-in-law, Douglas and Carl Otteson.
