She was also an avid bowler, going to many state tournaments. One of Punky’s most favorite memories was of going truck’n with her son, Jim. She loved seeing our great country and had a lot of great times while on the road with her son.
Most of her life was devoted to the care of other people. She worked at the hospital for many years and continued to love and care for many people right up until she recently became ill. No one was a stranger to Punky. Her love, laughter, hugs, and caring ways will long live on.
She is survived by her five children, Patty (Arden) Sanford, Monty Sondrol, Denise (Jim) Sogard, Larry (Charmaine) Sondrol and James Sondrol; her sister, Audrey Kooreman; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was proceeded in death by her husbands, LeRoy Sondrol and Terry Wallace; her parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
She was our beloved mother, dearly loved and will be forever in our hearts. Until we meet again mama.
