Family friendly barn dance to be held for charity

A family friendly barn dance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, to raise funds for the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack service event.
According to a press release about the event, “Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization committed to feeding hungry children and families around the world. With the help of volunteers and donors, they provide nutritious meals to those in need, [and] address the critical issue of global malnutrition.”
“This year our goal is around 171,000 meals and our goal is to raise about $52,000,” explained Angie Hartel, the organizer behind both the dance and the service event. “We will pack those 171,000 meals in two days at the Rough Rider Center. And to pay for that we try to do a lot of fundraising events.”
