Burgum applauds McKenzie County’s vision for the future

Governor Doug Burgum attended the Grand-opening Ceremony of the Bakken Area Skills Center (BASC) on April 16. He spoke about the unique nature of the McKenzie County community, as well as the future for not only the local community, but the state as a whole.
“The passion, the vision, the dedication in this community to keep driving itself forward is an inspiration. And I would like to say, you know, I’ve had an opportunity to see a lot of the country in the last year. But I can tell you one thing that happens back in North Dakota: This is a place where neighbors step up and help neighbors and people can tell you that the challenges we face around the globe are huge, but right here, this is the best of America because this is a place where people get things done,” stated Burgum.
