BSAR adds two K9s to search and rescue team

Badlands Search and Rescue (SAR) recently added two bloodhound teams, K9 Daisy Mae and handler James Earl, along with K9 Copper and handler Matt Earl, to its crew.
Badlands SAR is a volunteer, non-profit organization intended to assist with search and rescue missions in North Dakota.
The father and son K9 handlers, who are both SAR technicians, hope the addition of the K9s will advance their search and rescue efforts for the mission as a whole.
“Me and my dad wanted to do it as a father-son thing. We thought that’d be pretty cool,” says Matt. “There’s been so many [incidents] where if we would’ve had a bloodhound, we would have [likely] found the person a lot sooner.”
