Is there a man in America with more enemies than the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump? Do you ever step back from the “noise” of the daily news swirl and ask yourself...why is he so hated? Yes he is bombastic and bold and he is known to rhetorically punch back when punched. But that’s more about his style and a quest to never be seen as weak. I’ve always attributed that to his career as a real estate developer in New York City. Trump was the “little guy” in that arena and his competitors would strike hard if he ever appeared soft.
I’ve had the fascinating experience of sharing some time with Trump on a few occasions and always found him to be confident but kind. He has a softer, grandfatherly way about him in private. Obviously, most people will not have the opportunity to interact with him privately. But I still struggle to understand the answer to my question: Why do they hate this man?
