A memorial service for Scott Lee Gustafson, 47, of Aurora, Colo., was held on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Aurora, Colo.
Scott was born on June 12, 1967 in Denver, Colo. He attended Sable Elementary, North Middle School and graduated from Aurora-Hinkley High School in 1986.
Scott went on to become a successfull automotive paint technician working for Perfection Unlimited for over 22 years. He also worked for several years painting commercial airplanes.
Scott was the kind of friend that would give you the shirt off his back. He was always positive, generous with time and money. Scott would go out of his way to help someone in need.
Scott loved to restore old cars and trucks and was an avid collector of coins, Native American artifacts and beer steins. He also loved to hit the open road on his 1987 Harley Davidson Softail.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Ella Gustafson, Armand and Agnes Gravos, Franklin Stevens and nephew, Nicholas Gustafson.
Scott is survived by his parents, Arlene and Gordon Gustafson; brothers, Gordon (Jean) Gustafson, Frank (Nancy) Gustafson; girlfriend, Jaime Sands and her son Ryan; aunts and uncles, Joyce (Hans) Evanson, Janice (Gene) Hurd, Lois (Carmen) Monsen, Dolly Dwyer, Dorothy Woods, Jerome Gustafson, Avis (Melvin) Steinwand, Monica Miller, Jerald Gustafson and Larry Gustafson. nephews, Chris (Lara) Gustafson, Jesse Haubert, Nathan (Lisa) Gustafson, Luke (Kim) Gustafson and niece, Laurie Gustafson;
Scott is so missed by all family and friends. We love you.
