Kelly Foreman

Kelly W. Foreman, 34, of New Town, formerly of Watford City, N.D., passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., surrounded by his family.
Funeral services celebrating Kelly’s life were held Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at First Lutheran Church in Watford City. Pastor Rob Favorite officiated and interment followed at Cherry Cemetery rural Watford City.
Kelly Wayne Foreman was born July 5, 1979, to Lance and Deb (Rogness) Foreman in Watford City, N.D. He was raised and educated in the area and graduated from Watford City High School in 1998. He enjoyed FFA and went on to attend NDSCS in Wahpeton, N.D., where he earned an Associate’s Degree for Recreational Tech, which certified him to work on motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles and the like.
After college he worked for Universal Repairs in Fargo for a few years. He also worked at the Case IH and New Holland manufacturer in Fargo for five years. In January of 2010, Kelly moved to New Town where he began working for Whiting Oil as a maintenance technician and continued there until he became ill.
Kelly loved to fish on Lake Sacajawea, and also enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson through the Black Hills and the open spaces of Montana. Kelly loved his family and especially loved spending time with his nieces.
Kelly is survived by his parents,    Lance and Deb Foreman of Watford City, N.D.; brother, Kevin (Tina) Foreman of Watford City, N.D.; nieces, Brittney and Sammy Foreman; grandmother, Sally Foreman of New Town, N.D.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gordon Foreman; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Wilma Rogness; uncle, Bill Maynard; and by his cousin, Ryan Maynard.
