Betty Lovaas

Betty Lovaas, 72, of Yellville, Ark., passed away in the Snow Community at her home on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.
Betty was born March 7, 1939, in New Town, the daughter of Maynard and Louise Vorderbruggen Uran.
She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and was a Christian who loved and served her Lord. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, sewing and being with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Lovaas; her four children Renne (Freddy), Nichols of Rogers, Ark., Daryl (Lorey) Lovaas of Atlanta, Ga., Brad (Elanie) Lovaas of Brookland, Texas, and Carey (Tere) Lovaas of Harrison, Ark; two sisters Roberta (Donald) Elmstrand of North Branch, Minn., Jeanie (Myron) Brown of Dickinson; and seven brothers Richard (Sandra) Uran of Willow City, N.D., Garry Uran of Fallon, Nev., Keith and Daniel Uraqn of New Town, Chester (Carla) Uran of Alamosa, Colo., Dennis (Ginger) Uran of Gillette, Wyo., and Wade (Karla) Uran of Casper, Wyo., 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters Corrine, Connie Kandice, Marie, Geraline; and one brother, Roy Uran, and a great-grand daughter.
Memorial Rosary and Mass services were held Nov. 17, 2011, at St. Andrews Catholic Church of Yellville with Rev. James Fanrak officiating. Cremation and arrangements were handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. A memorial service and burial will take place this summer in and near New Town.
