Spikers season ends at Region 8

After coming off an impressive performance at the District 15 Volleyball Tournament, Watford City, the No. 2-ranked team from the district, saw their season come to a close following a 3-0 upset by Burke County in opening round play of the Region 8 Tournament last Monday.
The Wolves lost three games to Burke County by scores of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-17.
McKayla Haugeberg led the Wolves with five service aces, five kills and 10 digs in the match, while Marti Quale had 10 assists.
