Spikers fall to Divide County

Watford City dropped two varsity volleyball matches this past week as the Wolves lost three games to Divide County by scores of 25-8, 25-10 and 25-18 on Thursday, Oct. 15 and then fell to Dickinson Trinity 3-1 on Monday evening.
This coming week, the Wolves will close out their regular season action at home as they host Heart River on Monday and Hazen on Tuesday.

Divide County 3, Watford City 0
Watford City just couldn’t seem to find its offensive rhythm on Thursday as the Wolves dropped three quick games to the Divide County Maroons by scores of 25-8, 25-10 and 25-18.
Dani Bates led the Wolves with five kills, while Marti Quale had 10 assists in the game.

Dickinson Trinity 3, Watford City 1
Watford City played nearly flawlessly in its first game against Dickinson Trinity on Monday night as the Wolves took a 25-21 win. But after that first win, even when the Wolves had Dickinson Trinity on the ropes, they just couldn’t seem to put the Titans away.
Dickinson Trinity took the final three games of the match by scores of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-11.
Dani Bates let the Wolves with 10 kills, while Marti Quale had 26 assists and McKayla Haugeberg had 16 digs.
