Wolves have three named to All-State football team

Three members of the Watford City Wolves varsity football team have been named to the All-State Second Team, while  five players have been named to the All-Conference AA football team.
Named to the All-State Team was Brandon Allex, Mitchell Liebel and Beau Heiser.
Allex, a senior, was also an All-Conference running back/defensive back and was the Wolves’ Most Valuable Offensive player. Allex broke two W.C.H.S. records this past season with 55 carries in one game and 385 rushing yards in one game.
Liebel, a senior, was also an All-Conference offensive/defensive lineman. Liebel was the Wolves’ Most Valuable Offensive Lineman.
Heiser, a junior, was also an All-Conference offensive lineman/linebacker. Heiser was the Wolves’ Most Valuable Defensive player.
Logan Fettig, Dalton Wright, Andrew Sampsel and Daniel Marmon were also named to the All-Conference Team.
Fettig, a junior, was named to the All-Conference Team as an offensive/defensive lineman and was the Wolves’ Most Valuable Defensive Lineman, while Wright, a junior, earned an All-Conference spot and was the Wolves’ Most Valuable Linebacker.
Earning Honorable Mention spots on the All-Conference Team was Andrew Sampsel, a senior, as an offensive lineman, while Daniel Marmon, a junior, was an Honorable Mention as a defensive back.
