Karson Pederson, a sophomore at Watford City High School, ended her golf season in a four-way tie for  54th place at the State Class B Girls Golf Tournament.
Pederson fired a 96 on the first day of play, her personal best, and then came back with a 97 on the second day to finish the two-day tournament, held at the CrossRoads Golf Course in Carrington with a score of 193.
“Karson did great at State,” stated LeRoy Bettenhausen, Wolves girls golf head coach. “She executed well with her irons and putter.  During the year, she struggled with her driver but made it connect when she needed it at this tournament. This was a great experience for her and, hopefully, will pay off in the future.”
