Watford City’s varsity wrestling team was shut out, 59-0, by the Hettinger Black Devils in dual action last Thursday and then competed in the New Salem East/West Tournament over the weekend.
This week, the Wolves will wrap up their regular season action as they travel to New Salem on Friday for a dual meet.

Hettinger 59, Watford City 0
With four Watford City wrestlers sick and unable to compete against Hettinger, the Wolves were no match for the Black Devils in dual action last Thursday.
With Coleton Jore, Trevor Kalberer, Keegan Thompson and Josh Rockeman out of Watford City’s lineup, the Black Devils shut out the Wolves, 59-0.
Individual results from the dual were as follows:
106: Logan Gumke was decisioned 11-3 by Chauncey Hughes.
126: Clay Jorgenson was decisioned 15-4 by Trevor Abrahamson.
138: Gus Nelson was decisioned 6-4 by Rodney Vanhoff.
152: Austin Garmann was pinned by Sean Elkins, 4:47.
