Killdeer bests Wolves in wrestling action

The Killdeer Cowboys rolled over the Watford City Wolves, 72-12, in dual action on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Logan Gumke and Trevor Kalberer scored the only points for Watford City as both pinned their opponents. Gumke pinned Rope Smith in 3:14 at 106 pounds, while Kalberer pinned Dillan Jepson in 1:40 in the 145-pound match.
The next action for the Wolves will be on Jan. 6 and 7 when they compete in the Bismarck Rotary Tournament.
The individual results from the Killdeer dual were as follows.
106: Logan Gumke pinned Rope Smith, 3:14.
113: Coleton Jore was pinned by Derek Tabor, 1:10.
126: Clay Joregenson was pinned by Logan Schaper, 3:44.
138: Gus Nelson was pinned by Jerad Lee-Gay, 5:59.
145: Trevor Kalberer pinned Dillan Jepson, 1:40.
152: Keegan Thompson was pinned by Garett Tabor, 4:41.
160: Austin Garmann was pinned by River Voigt,1:33.
170: Josh Rockeman was pinned by Daniel Arthur, 1:51.
285: Kye Bolken was pinned by TJ Moore, 0:21.
