Wolves come up short at Region

Watford City was hoping to have a shot at playing the Stanley Blue Jays for the title game in the Region 8 Volleyball Tournament.
But those hopes were dashed when the Wolves ran into a buzz saw during the opening round of the tournament on Monday evening as Divide County brought Watford City’s season to an abrupt end.
Divide County swept Watford City three quick games as the Maroons blasted the Wolves 25-11 and 25-12 in the first two games of the match. While Watford City led for most of the third game, the Maroons completed the sweep edging Watford City 26-24.
Brianna Allex and McKayla Haugeberg led the Wolves with six kills each, while Haugeberg and Charlie Hystad had 10 digs each.
