Spikers edge Dickinson Trinity

In a tough week of volleyball action, Watford City fell to Divide County last Thursday and then defeated a tough Dickinson Trinity team on Monday night.
The Wolves will be closing out their regular season play with back-to-back games when Watford City hosts the Heart River Cougars on Monday, Oct. 24 and then take on the Hazen Bison on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Divide County 3, Watford City 0
Watford City was no match against Divide County last Thursday evening as the Maroons swept the Wolves in three straight games. Divide County took the first game, 25-15, and then got by the Wolves, 25-10 and 25-19, to complete the sweep.
McKayla Haugeberg led the Wolves with two aces, seven kills and 14 digs in the match.

Watford City 3, Dickinson Trinity 2
You know it’s always going to be an exciting match whenever Watford City and Dickinson Trinity square off on the volleyball court. And volleyball fans were entertained to one of the best matches that the Wolves have played at home with the Wolves edging the Titans 3-2 in the best of five game series.
The Titans took the first game of the evening 25-20 but the Wolves rebounded and took the second game 25-11. Dickinson Trinity then took the third game 25-17 with Watford City coming back to take the final two games of the match by scores of 25-16 and 15-13.
Charlie Hystad led the Wolves with two aces, 15 kills and four blocks.
