City police arrest two men on drug charges

Following a tip by an anonymous citizen, two men were arrested on drug charges near a Watford City business on Monday, Dec. 6.
Marte Albert Krebs, 44, of Golden Valley, and Jeffrey Wayne Quenzer, 46, of Marmarth, were arrested by the police in the 100 Block of Main Street South following the report of suspicious activity.
According to Slade Herfindahl, Watford City police chief, Krebs was ultimately charged by the McKenzie County State’s Attorney with Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, a Class B Felony; Preventing Arrest or Discharge of Other Duties, a Class C Felony; Ingesting a Controlled Substance, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor.  Krebs is also facing a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony.
Quenzer was charged with Ingesting a Controlled Substance, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor.
Krebs remains incarcerated in the McKenzie County Jail. His bond has been set at $10,000.00 cash only, Quenzer posted bond and was released from custody.
